Not sure about that color combo, this seems to have happened to a lot of cars restored in the 70s and 80s.

And the painted grill was probably to avoid the expense of rechroming.
I think they are at least an approximation of mid ‘30s GM paint colors, but maybe not in that combination.

The painted hood ornament kind of triggers me too, this isn’t a blackout special.
I’ve seen a number of classics restored during in the 70s and early 80s in colors that were popular at the time, rather than original to the car.

You’re goddamn right it’s special.
... though not the good kind. Somebody needs to shoot the restorer. When even I can spot errors (I don’t do pre-war) it’s super fucked.
